DIY Pink Play-dough
The fun starts even before the dough is formed: Take a big mixing bowl and sit with your little one on the grass, or work directly on the kitchen bench and (using your hands) mix one part salt + one part water + two parts flour.
For some colour, add a tiny splash of beetroot juice - or experiment with other natural colourings.
Then, explore your natural surroundings for seed pods, wildflowers, and other natural elements to experiment with printing patterns and shapes into the dough.
When you're done, either wrap it up for later or bake your creations into salt dough ornaments!

Breakfast Popsicles
We adore this idea from @kylienshank. Not only because these natural popsicles are wonderfully easy to make, but also because when all else fails at breakfast time, she offers these to her daughter as "Breakfast Popsicles". We know so many daughters who would burst with glee at the thought of eating an ice cream for breakfast! It's little things like this that can create such special memories.
It's essentially a dairy free smoothie - turned ice cream! Click the image below to see Kylie's post and find the simple three-ingredient recipe.

A Leaf Library
Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most entertaining for children and adults alike. After collecting a diverse mix of leaves, tape each to a piece of craft paper and work together with a plant identifying app to find the name of each species of flora. Write the names below each and use them as fun reference cards on your next nature walk.

The Magic of Make Believe
Sometimes all it takes is a special dress (like our Sunday Dress in pink French linen) and a prop (like this wand) to unleash a world of imagination within your little one. You may like to provide a novel space, like the quilt cubby above, and they will happily enter their own special world - they may even invite you to join them there!
